Serigraph by H. Claude Pissarro

Les_rhododendrons_22x29_claude_pissHugues Claude Pissarro, father of lelia Pissaro, is the grandson of the Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro and son of Paulemile Pissarro. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine and enveloped in an artistic environment, he spent his childhood and youth with art. Carrying on a family tradition established by Camille Pissarro, his father frequently took Hugues on painting excursions, accompanied by his numerous artist friends, and these proved formative for him. Initially taught by his father, Hugues Pissarro first exhibited his work at the age of fourteen. He subsequently studied art in Paris at prestigious establishments such as Ecole du Musée du Louvre and, in particular, at Ecole Normale Supérieur, a unique French institution dedicated to the pursuit of achievement and excellence to which only the academic elite have access. It was inevitable that this educational background would lead him to become a professor of art for much of his professional life and in 1965 he accepted an official invitation to teach art in Monaco. He was even commissioned by the White House in 1959 to paint President Eisenhower. Below is a signed limited edition serigraph the Westport River Gallery has by Claude Pissarro/ Size of the image is 22x29. Wonderful Statements of Nature

Bb
Not all artists express themselves the way they see the world. Krupp is a favorite among designers, and those who like large colorful whisps of life, beauty and nature. She exhibits in museums, galleries and her artistic career dates back over three decades. She was featured at the Musee de Duncan, Paris and was awarded the Bronze Metal in the Salon D’Aout. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Massilion Art Museum in Ohio. During 2005 she exhibited at the Orange Center For Contemporary Art, Santa Anna, Calif. and “Exalted Color” Exhibition at the Caladan Gallery, Beverly Mass. “I am a master gardener. I have had garden clubs touring my garden. For years I photographed my gardens and painted from those photographs. I have also visited major public gardens in many states and painted the beauty that I found there. I have painted the displays at flower shops, and the beauty that I found in gardens and villages of Europe, the Caribbean, and America. In my current work I am creating abstract painting with a touch of nature. The driving force behind this work is the beauty of nature that I have sought to create and portray for many years. I love cooking, baking, and creating beauty and joy in all that I touch. After 30 years of art - ranging from images of seascapes and cottages, to gardens and flowers, to abstract paintings, I feel that I have always sought to portray the beauty that I find in the world. Several of her works are below, and range in size from 24x48 to 45x65.
